Accommodation, transport, and breakfast are included in the package.

About the routes:

Orange Route: Kapisillit – Kiinaasaq – Neriunaq

The Xtreme route is Greenland’s first mountain marathon at 42 KM, starting in Kapisillit. The first 20 KM is flat terrain around the bay leading to Neriunaq. From Neriunaq, the ascent begins up to Kiinaasaq, Nuuk’s highest mountain, covering the next 11 KM.

Most of the way follows clear trails, but the final stretch to the summit consists of large rocks. Along the way, you might encounter sheep, ptarmigans, or reindeer. At the summit, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of Kapisillit, Nuuk’s mountain peaks, the ice fjord, and the inland ice sheet. From the summit, you’ll follow the same route back down to Neriunaq.

The route will be marked with orange signs, flags, and guides. You can see the village of Kapisillit from most of the trail.

Black Route: Neriunaq – Kiinaasaq – Neriunaq

Also an Xtreme route of 21 KM, this covers the final portion of the orange route — from the base at Neriunaq to the summit of Kiinaasaq and back again. Participants will be transported by boat to and from Kapisillit, located just across from Neriunaq (about 5 minutes by boat).

Blue Route: Kapisillit – Neriunaq

A 21 KM moderate and family-friendly route, starting in Kapisillit and leading past the ice fjord to the sheep farm Neriunaq. It’s mostly flat terrain and follows a well-defined trail the entire way.

All routes finish in Neriunaq, where participants will be transported back to the camp in Kapisillit by boat (5 minutes).

There will be refreshments along the way, including at the summit of Kiinaasaq.

• 4 food stations for the 42 KM runners

• 2 food stations for the 21 KM runners

Offerings include sports drinks, juice, water, fruit, chocolate, and chocolate buns, with a sandwich served at the finish area.
